Melbourne Office Restructure
The Challenge : To provide Career Transition support to a number of employees at the Melbourne Office of this IT Services organisation. A significant change in corporate direction resulted in a number of positions no longer being required for the new business direction.
The Outcome : We provided an initial briefing with HR and the local Management to put in place the correct approach to ensure all affected employees were treated with dignity and to ensure that they all understood that the terminations were not a reflection of their performance. Each of the employees were provided with our Career Transition support to enable a successful job search program to be put in place.
National Career Transition Program
The Challenge: To manage and deliver a program for the major restructure of a large Australian owned multi-service IT provider, resulting in numerous roles being made redundant across Australia and New Zealand.
The Outcome: We provided on-site support, reassurance and counselling to all affected employees and managers with the assistance of our business Partners across Australia and New Zealand. Programs were developed and implemented to be tailored to specifically meet each individual’s strengths and needs to re-enter the workforce as promptly and proficiently as possible.
Provision of Redundancy Program solution for major organisational restructure
The Challenge: A major restructuring program at a multi-national organisation resulted in a large number of roles being made redundant across the entire spectrum of the organisation’s operations.
The Outcome: We provided a holistic solution that enabled the entire process to be managed and coordinated. The comprehensive range of activities provided included developing a project plan and communication strategy, training the “telling” managers, delivering on-site workshops, assisting all the affected employees, and coaching managers on managing the implications of the restructure.
Individual Career Transition Coaching for Senior Executives
The Challenge: To provide comprehensive and successful career transition coaching for a wide range of senior executives.
The Outcome: We have supported the direction and development of individuals in roles as diverse as Global President, CEO and Leadership Team members, to specialist roles such as Nuclear Scientist, Aeronautical Expert, and Professor of Marine Biotechnology.
Delivery of on-site Career Transition Centre in remote location
The Challenge: A client, operating a mine in a remote location, requested us to deliver a range of services to assist their employees to prepare for a forced job and location change following the cessation of the contract.
The Outcome: With minimal preparation time, a Career Transition Centre was established on site that provided employees with coaching and assistance, while at the same time maintaining required levels of productivity.
