Pat Abraham Partner
Pat has extensive experience in the rural industries in both Government and private enterprise in senior management, export market development and business advisory roles.  He was a member of a number of State and National committees, including the NSW Premier’s Food Forum Secretariat and assisted numerous food and fibre companies to enter the Asian market.  His commercial experience has developed through the management of companies exporting agricultural and food products to Asia.  He has an agricultural degree and is a member of the Australian Rural Leadership Graduate Network.  Pat has extensive contacts in agribusiness and food throughout Australasia. He joined Geddes Parker & Partners in 2006.

Rob Browne Partner
Rob has held senior management positions in public administration, manufacturing, and marketing, and managed his own business. His career has spanned Australia and UK, and he spent the last 12 years with an international career development firm. His areas of specialty include Change Management, Career Management, Career Transition, Executive Coaching, Directional Counselling, Culture Climate Management, On-Boarding, Talent Retention and Project Management. He also works on community projects and training of volunteers. Rob has a Diploma of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Business Administration. He joined Geddes Parker & Partners in January 2007.

Ross Geddes Partner
A number of years of part-time study resulted in Ross gaining a Masters degree in marketing from the University of NSW followed by MBA from Macquarie University.  His commercial experience spans the industrial, consumer and pharmaceutical industries, from a marketing and general management perspective.  Ross was Director, Consumer Products Division with Ciba-Geigy Australia Ltd, prior to commencing his executive search practice in 1985, and the establishment of Geddes Parker & Partners in 1989. Since then he has developed particular expertise in executive search and selection in the healthcare, automotive and the not-for-profit sectors.

David Parker Partner
David had a successful career in Human Resources gained predominantly with inter-related engineering, construction and mining/mineral processing multinational corporations in Australia and South East Asia. He moved into executive search in 1985, leading to the establishment of Geddes Parker & Partners in 1989.  David has developed an extensive practice in heavy engineering, construction, construction materials, and mining related businesses.  He is an active participant in relevant regional business associations, is a Fellow of the Institute of Company Directors, and an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management.

Martin Shanahan Partner

Martin has significant management, consulting and executive recruitment expertise across a range of industries including FMCG, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, healthcare and construction throughout Australasia.  He has held senior recruitment positions in the world’s largest web enabled search, assessment and career management service; was Recruitment Director of Australia’s largest food manufacturing and distribution group; and Operations Director of Swiss/ Indonesian Government import/export joint venture. Martin received his MBA from Macquarie Graduate School of Business and LLB and BA in Industrial Relations, Asian History and Philosophy from the University of NSW. He joined Geddes Parker & Partners as a Partner in 2002.


Stephen Carroll Agribusiness Consultant

Stephen has an extensive background in rural industry.  A veterinarian, he held senior management roles in industry and government. He helped establish quality standards in the meat industry and ran a major industry association for a number of years.  He is the current Chairman of the NSW Poultry Meat Industry Committee and is a member of the Agribusiness Association of Australia.  Stephen has many years of executive search experience with a broad base of business contacts in agribusiness and food.  He became a Partner when Supply Chain Executive Search merged with Geddes Parker & Partners in 2004.

Stephen now consults to Geddes Parker & Partners as required.


Catherine Reynolds Consulting Psychologist

Catherine Reynolds is a Registered Psychologist with a Master of Arts and Dip Ed from Sydney University. A member of the Australian Psychological Society since 1984, she has worked in organisational and educational psychology for the past twenty years. She has worked with major Australian companies such as Colonial Group, Goodman Fielder, BHP Tubemakers, Unilever, Southcorp, Snowy Hydro Limited and Wesfarmers. She launched her own Consultancy in 2000, focusing on providing psychological expertise to enhance the effectiveness of decision making within client organisations. She joined Geddes Parker & Partners in 2005.
